Lindsey Vonn (born 18 Oct 1984) is a former American alpine ski champion, who was awarded gold in the downhill event at the Winter Olympics 2010. Vonn is ranked second in the world of female and male skiers on the basis of the highest scores. She is among the world's greatest skiers and also is the most loved skier in America. Caroline Vonn, a World Cup winning alpine skier from the United States who goes by the name Lindsey Vonn represents the US Ski Team. She has won four times crowned the winner of the World Cup overall competition. She is an athlete with a lot of fame throughout American history. She is among only six female athletes who have taken home trophies in all five World Cup competitions in alpine. Overall, she's achieved the prestigious 82 World Cup championships. Following the World Championships held in Sweden, one of the top and most experienced ski racers from America is set to retire. After suffering from a series of ailments The three-time World Cup champion has decided to retire. Social media was used to announce her retirement.
