Coleman was born and raised in the town of the town of Blackpool in Lancashire. She went to Arnold School Blackpool as head girl, and she received the highest marks for her A level examinations. If Coleman was asked about her role in Emmerdale she replied that she regrets having not had the typical university experience. At the time of her schooling, Coleman was part of a theatre company called In Yer Space with whom she performed at the Edinburgh Festival in the play Crystal Clear. Her performance was rewarded with a prestigious award, and the production received positive reviews. Coleman was offered the role as Jasmine Thomas at Emmerdale while performing in drama school in 2005. Coleman was nominated twice in 2007. In 2007, Coleman was nominated for two awards, The British Soap Awards as the most promising newcomer and the National Television Awards as the most Popular. The British Soap Awards of 2009 she received nominations in the categories of Best Actress and Sexiest female, as well as the category for Best Dramatic Acting. Coleman was nominated for Best Actress at the TV Choice Awards. Steven Moffat of Doctor Who announced in a news event on 21st March 2012 that Coleman would replace Karen Gillan after she and Arthur Darvill had left. Moffat chose to put her in the role because she has the most chemistry Smith. She also spoke faster than Smith. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Since 1987, she has participated in TV and film projects. Her most well-known work is her television work rather than films. Out of the many roles Eva has appeared in, on TV shows like Dr. Maria Santos in All My Children and the detective Natalia Boa Vista' in CSI Miami are the two that make an impression. In fact, the role of the character Dr. Maria Santos from All My Children landed the actress 2 Daytime Emmy nominations. This allowed her to display her talent in music. In addition to being an actor, Eva is a philanthropist and an entrepreneur. She has been married thrice and also has a daughter with her previous husband.
