Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah is an Indian actress, playback performer as well as a musician. She works most often in Tamil and Malayalam film languages. Her acting debut was in the Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam, and her Malayalam d but with Annayum Rasoolum. Andrea Jeremiah has been identified as an Anglo-Indian born in Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Her father works as a lawyer at the Madras High Court. Her younger sister is a Belgian research assistant who works in Leuven. Jeremiah was born in the vicinity of Chennai and attended National Public School before graduating from Women's Christian College. Andrea was able to learn piano during her eighth year. At age 10 she was a part of a group of the Jackson Five called Young Stars which formed the foundation of her performing and music composition career. The actress was also a stage student at her school and appeared in several performances staged through The Madras Players and EVAM. Andrea was also one of the Student Senate President at Women's Christian College. Andrea's career in theatre began with the play of Girishkarnad Nagamandala. In 2006, she was a part-time actress in a new leo advertisement along with actor Shiva. The year 2006 was the time she starred in a TV show airing on Podhigai. She's performed in India. She played a brief character in the finale in Kanda Naal Mudhal (2005). Gautham V. Menon contacted her following the fact that she appeared in Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu to appear as the lead female character for Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea is Kalyani in this film, which is an adaptation of James Siegel's novel Derailed. The husband of the character is involved in an affair with her and she is subsequently blackmailed. Andrea was chosen to play Kalyani following Simran Shobana, Tabu and others were offered the role. The film came out in early 2010. In 2011, she agreed to take on a small supporting role in Venkatprabhu's multi-starrer Mankatha that was came out in August 2011. Annayum Rasoolum is a romantic movie directed by Rajeeev Ravi, that was released in 2013, was her Malayalam debut.
