Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
Initiated by the shadows she observed upon the ground The artist took weeks perfecting the technique used that allows objects to be represented in two dimensions onto canvas. Instead, the object is transformed into a representation of the subject, where the surface becomes the carrier of it's personal interpretation by painting, particularly in the case of live or perishable objects for example, like humans or fruit. The transient nature of her painterly style is obvious and what survives in Alexa Meade's art is a photograph. The painting and the photographic methods are tightly interwoven that the result is a flat, two dimensional space which is able to achieve trompe-l'oeil. In this, the third dimension is only visible in specific areas, such as near the eyes or hair. Meade occasionally integrates painted models in the space surrounding them. This allows them to be part of the world that she created. The boundaries between performance, photography, and installation can be dissolved.
