Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding - born Elena Jane Goulding (30 December 1986) in Hereford (England) she is an English singer/songwriter. Ellie Goulding's infectious electronic sound rapidly pushed her into the top charts after she was noticed by the general public in 2010. She was able to do this with the singles "Starry Eyed", and "Guns and Horses". Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding makes a mark as a contemporary musician with her distinctive soprano voice, and her talent in writing songs that are both catchy and emotional. She is similar in many ways to Kate Bush, Imogen Heap and other musicians with similar styles. Polydor Records, a major music label, chose to sign the singer and began preparations to release her debut album.
